One of our bestsellers.... As you can see, this is no ordinary hood. It features superstretch neoprene for a really snug fit. The neck system uses an inner and outer collar, designed to prevent water from funnelling into the suit through the face. (A not uncommon problem with traditional hoods and balaclavas). There is also has a further liquid taped "O" ring seal inside the neck not visible in the pix.
The face aperture features a drawstring constrictor to reduce any exposure to cold and wind to an absolute minimum. This drawstring has a press stud to locate the end and thus prevent it from lashing across your face. All seams are waterproof, glued and blindstitched. There is a peak to prevent water from dripping in your eyes. The ears feature perforations through the neoprene but not through the lining, this enables you to keep your ears warm but still hear. This hood should be nominated for a design award. We keep telling people how good Alder's winter products are...
Sizes Available.... We find that pretty much only two adult sizes are needed so that is all we stock however we can get other sizes to order if need be.
Sizes are...Medium and Large.
Please note that this hood requires a hefty pull to get it on due to the neck seal but once past that point the superstretch neoprene allows a beautifully snug fit.
