GENERAL NOTES ON CUSTOM BOARD HIRE The construction of the board is secondary to the size. i.e. You can learn on a Custom Surfboard as long as the board is big enough for the rider. All dings that need repair (i.e. put the board out of the water are chargeable at cost) Fin Control Systems are designed to snap if hit, £10 per fin will be charged for replacements. Pressure dings and ordinary wear and tear are tolerated. Boards may be stored in the shop overnight or when not in use f.o.c. to minimise the risk of theft. Croyde can get very crowded at times when there are excellent uncrowded waves to be found at Saunton (2 miles long) and Putsborough (3 miles long). In order to minimise the risk of damage (to both board and rider) it may be prudent to avoid Croyde at peak periods particularly with the more fragile Custom boards.
