Gul Winter Charge 5/4/3 £119.95

A very popular blind-stitched suit available in blue/black, grey/black and all black. Superb quality with really nice supple neoprene. As winter suits go this is quite a light flexible suit. We think this is the nearest thing to an "all year round compromise suit".

A bit light for a "4 hours in Febuary when it's snowing" suit (although you can add a thermal rash-vest etc.) this suit could be used in a bad summer but you would suffer in a heatwave. Now that suits are so cheap though most people would buy both a summer suit and a winter suit.

Gul Charge features include Titanium 2, G-Flex shoulders, meshskin chest & back, YKK metal zip slider, glideskin neck and toughened knee sections (behind the printed kneepads).

Alder Winter Soul 5/4/3 £159.95

Very nice suit with lots of features. Turning the suit inside out reveals the full story. The top half of the suit is all in super-stretch neoprene. Unusually this includes the mesh chest and back panels made by Yamamoto and featuring a red polypropollne lining. This is a hollow man-made fibre which holds air, giving a further layer of insulation and holding wetness away from the skin.

The suit is fully blindstitched, the upper super-stretch section having all joints re-inforced with spot taping at all junctions. The lower half off the suit features liquid taped silicone seams, the very latest way of ensuring a completely water-tight join.

The zip is YKK metal headed and the zip flaps are glued and blindstitched in from the inside. This eliminates water entry from the stitch holes usually found surrounding the zip. There is an adjustable storm collar lined with lycra for comfort. A double lined insert is fitted between the collar and chest panel to anchor the neck securely.

Super-stretch panels to the back of the knee, velcro ankle straps and rolled meshskin cuff seals complete the picture. Right hand picture is a close up of the liquid silicon seal. This suit has many features designed to minimise flushing. (the better a suit retains the water the body has already warmed up the warmer you stay)

Gul Winter Nitro 5/4/3 £189.95 (rrp £209.95)

Another well liked and popular suit. Made entirely from Aerocore super-stretch neoprene and featuring the latest liqid silicone taped seams throughout. There are 3 colours, grey/black, navy/black and all black. Turning the suit inside out (r/h pic) you can see the detailing on the liquid taped seams, the polypropylene chest panel and the copper glideskin neck.

The zip is YKK metal headed and the zip flaps are glued and blindstitched in from the inside. This eliminates water entry from the stitch holes usually found surrounding the zip. In addition this suit features a built in rash vest which is sewn into the zip flaps so that once in position it seals off the zip from the inside. The collar is adjustable.

Picture below shows the liquid silicone taped seam with the copper glideskin cuff seal. This suit really needs to be seen to fully appreciate the special aerocore super stretch neoprene.
